Very nice ambience. Decent parking space. Good service. They provide a small device which has buttons to call waiters for service/water/bills which worked perfectly fine. On seating they provide drinks in shot glasses as welcome drinks. We had alphaham mandi, the alphaham was very good but Mandi rice was the star. It was so flavourful. Had half grilled chicken wings (4 pieces) which also came with rumali roti. The chicken wings were very juicy and tasty. We also had spicy fries and full meat spicy shawarma and both were very good. We also had a chocolate shake which was decent and the other drink (blue color drink and I forgot the name) was good as well. Overall it was a very nice experience. ~ Ashwin M

An absolute lovely cafe with a budget friendly menu. We went to the Kakkanad branch of Bektash. Here the menu includes Turkish and Arabic dishes. We had alfaham,kuboos mandi, chicken sheesh kebab, rice bowl and an ice cream with brownie. The kuboos was very soft and flaky. Everything was served flaming hot. Alfaham was so flavourful. I am not a sugar person but personally loved their brownie with ice cream, which is a new launch in their menu I guess. Parking space is available in front of the cafe. Service was appreciable. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a budget friendly Arabic and Turkish dishes. You do not have to think twice. ~ Abhirami B

I am lost for words. I randomly stumbled upon this shop, I think that was the best random thing to happen. Best in class food and service. Usually most store's go for quality over quantity or vice versa here it was a perfect blend of quantity and quality at the most reasonable price. Will sure be my go-to place from now on. Updating the review after so many visits. Still the best place to have a bite in kakkanad, never disappoints, always provide best service and great quality food at reasonable rate. But the service time is getting longer which is the only issue I find here.They also have reward programs which I felt interesting. Most of the cafe/restaurant I visited after moving to kochi has requested for review and all, but here after all the visit they never asked anything like that. One of the best places to enjoy mandi. I tried Beef Ribs Mandi and Al Faham Mandi. I am not sure if it was my hunger, but both of them were super delicious. The Al Faham was medium spicy and the chicken was juicy and tender. The rice was flavoured rightly and the quantity was apt. It was served with mayo. Although the restaurant has its fame for Arabic cuisine. I am a fan of their Coffee. Just because the food was sumptuous I couldn't order a second cup of coffee. Maybe next time. They have limited parking space but the ambience is good. It's located just beside the BPCL petrol pump on the left side while traveling from Infopark to Civil Station. ~ Suraj S

Great food overall! I’ve tried most of the items on the menu and enjoyed them, except for the burger, which I didn’t find appealing enough to try a second time. That said, the rest of the dishes are excellent, with a perfect balance of quality and quantity. The customer service is commendable, and the pricing is very reasonable. The ambiance is one of the best, though the place can get a bit smoky at times when they cook alfam. However, the fast delivery makes up for it. Good food and great place to hangout!! We tried their Chicken shawarma salad, pepper Alfahm, chicken seekh kebab and Arabic Alfahm. All tasted incredibly good. The chicken shawarma salad is very filling and a great option for gluten free and nutritious meal. And they have this cool device at every table which we can press if you need to get water, bill or call the waiter. Good ambience and good service . A good place to visit with friends. Tried the Double chicken zinger burger which had double zinger chicken patty and came with jalapeños and cheese and tasted really good, falafel was served hot and was rolled in Rumali roti, Pepper Alfahm , Mexican spicy Alfahm was really spicy and tasted really good . You'll get the best shawarma's here in Kakkanad! I've tried cheesy full meat chicken shawarma plate and chicken fries with cheese, both these dishes are delicious! The quantity is good enough to fill the belly. Only downside of the food is it being too oily, and won't recommend to have it frequently. Taste wise it's amazing, but not good for health if having it on regular basis. ~ Prajjawal S
